Mrs. Amanda V. Lenze
Is currently serving as the choral director at Walled Lake Central High School. Previously, she taught for 5 years at East Middle School in Plymouth-Canton. Mrs. Lenze dedicates additional time to after school and evening small choral ensembles to further develop youth voices in their choral advancement. Before becoming the choral director for East Middle School she taught elementary music in New Hampshire and middle school and high school choral and middle school band in the Livonia School District. Mrs.Lenze is a graduate of Plymouth State University in Plymouth, NH and currently pursuing her masters of music education from the University of Michigan.
During her five-year term at East Middle School and her current Walled Lake Central position her students have participated in State Honors Choir events, district and state choral festivals, and district and state solo and ensemble events. In addition to her teaching schedule Mrs. Lenze teaches private voice lessons. She is in her fifth season of singing with the Vocal Arts ensemble in Ann Arbor and cantors with her husband at Our Lady of the Lakes in Waterford, MI.

Mr. Dave Howland
A graduate of the University of Michigan, Dave Howland is as a free-lance pianist, accompanist, and arranger based in the Metro Detroit area. He works as the Accompanist for several high school music programs as well as the PRISM Men’s Chorus, a 120-person choir based in Royal Oak. He runs a private teaching studio for all ages, which includes a program that prepares prospective music majors for college-level piano classes. He also accompanies for various church and temple services, recitals, musical and operatic performances, and soloist competitions. A published arranger, his works vary in genre from Classical to Broadway to Pop, and they have been performed in many venues nation-wide. His passions include helping hyperactive children to find their place in music, as well as working collaboratively with professional soloists.
Dave lives in Novi with his husband Ken and their son John. In his free time, Dave serves on the PTO Board at his son’s elementary school and volunteers in various administrative capacities for his son’s hockey team. He loves traveling all over the U.S. and abroad, but especially enjoys his family’s annual trips to Cedar Point.
