For 23 years Jessica Fielder has provided voice and piano instruction, in the Detroit Metro area, with a commitment to excellence. Jessica’s studio is currently represented on the Broadway stage with a studio alumnus in the national touring cast of Beauty and the Beast, in Chicago with an alum in the cast of Chicago, and with former students studying voice and musical theatre at top notch colleges and universities around the country. At present, The Fielder Studio of Music has voice and musical theatre students at UofM, MSU, CMU, GVSU, WSU, OU, The Cleveland Institute of Music, The University of Miami, Ball State University, Elon University, Pace University, and Wagner College. Jessica’s students also grace area stages in the Michigan Opera Theatre Children’s Chorus and various high school and community theatre musicals.
Jessica has studied voice at Westminster Choir College, Marygrove College and The University of Michigan. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance and Piano Pedagogy. Jessica continues to study on a daily basis and teaches various styles of music including but not limited to Classical, Musical Theatre, Jazz, Pop, Rock and Country. She is a member of various Local, State and National music organizations, some of which she has served as president over. She also serves as an adjudicator for NATS and The National Federation of Music Clubs. She is currently teaching, coaching and accompanying students at Walled Lake Central High School, Walled Lake Northern High School and North Farmington High School as well as maintaining a large studio in her home in Farmington Hills.
